If you cancel before the 5th month it will not allow you to maintain your membership till the 5th month. The membership will end before the start of the next free pay cycle

If you have a CITI card, generate a virtual card number for this, set max daily charge to $2. When 5 months is up, future subscription will get automatically declined

Sweet, thanks OP! Signed up and it said the original promo code was not valid, then changed it to your promo code and it said 3 free months, but the renewal date was Dec 17. Thinking 4 months is still good, I subscribed. Then I went into account management, and it changed to renewal on Jan 17, so ended up with 5 months.

Don't forget to use the privacy app so you can use it till the last day and don't get charged if you forget to cancel.

I'm no coffee snob but after drinking Panera everyday for 3 years, quality can vary from mediocre to very poor depending on location and time of day (including many times with more grounds than coffee in my cup). In general coffee shops though, you would probably prefer cold brew, it's usually less bitter.
...LMAO Haha, you know, I've never thought of myself as a coffee snob before. I don't buy expensive equipment to make coffee at home, I don't have to do it a particular way, buy a particular grade of bean, etc. But reading above I might sound like one. I'm just as picky with my food tasting good as I am with coffee, so maybe I'm just a food snob in general?

Yeah, I've tried a couple of shop cold brew. Still not good. Maybe it's just something wrong with my tastebuds. Too sensitive to bitter.

Costco's card is Citi but mine says the don't have virtual card feature. So, not all Citi cards.

Got this last time it was offered. I don't drink coffee, but I enjoyed their "loaded" lemonades that had just as much, if not more, caffeine.

Then I saw how much sugar was in each one and quickly stopped drinking them and basically let my subscription lapse.

They are good though and if you have no problem with ridiculous amounts of sugar...have at it! Smilie
To cut the sugar I get a full large cup without ice then I mix 4 oz of the yuzu charged lemonade and 4 oz of orange juice and that's what I have in the morning instead of coffee. It will last me a week or 2 depending if I drink it every day or not.

Download the privacy app and connect a funding source. In the app, you can generate virtual credit cards where you can set rules such as max per month, one use max, lock to a single merchant, etc. This way if you generate a card that can have a max of $1, then when it tries to renew, it will get declined.

Check it out and feel free to PM me if you have questions. It's a really great app when you need cc numbers for trials or shady merchants.
It looks like it doesn't use credit cards, only bank account information. which is fine for free trials like this but not for actual purchases.
Unless you are spending over $1k a month in order to get your $10 premium subscription monthly fee back. Which is very possible to hit every month if you're buying a lot online. But then you don't get a lot of the added benefits of using a credit card.

Not sure why everyone stresses about using an actual CC. Do you guys not have a digital calendar like outlook? Setup a calendar appointment to cancel this a day or two before billing is going to begin. Works flawless for me for many years on all these little random subscriptions.

Seriously, I usually can cancel most things immediately but I just make a calendar event with a few days repeating notification the second I sign up

Ok, where did I mess up?

I had the invalid code at first but when I added the other it was working prior to paying.

Now I cannot get that extra free months to activate & it looks like I just got charged $13.19 after tax and got no free months! I've never had this before, so very confused
