I also re-subcribed my son's account - which was NOT currently enrolled. That account did go all the way to January 19th after clicking the manage subscription link.
When I click the link on Slickdeals it takes me to a page that gives an error: "Ineligible Promo Code
This promo code is available for *New Subscribers Only. Don't worry, you'll still get a great deal on all our great Sip Club benefits!"
When I select "continue" takes me to the manage sip club page where you can add a promo code, and that's where it APPEARS to work and gave me a December 20, 2023 date for when I would be charged but there's no indication on my account that I'm part of the sip club. I went through the process twice, with exact same results
EDIT to add:
It appears it's an issue with the app. This worked on the website although clicking the link on Slickdeals still gives the error that it's an invalid promo code, that's the first link that says "here" and takes you to a promo code of TWOMONTHS. That code replaces the one that would normally give new subscribers one month.
I replaced that code with the 3guest10 and again got the December 20 date but this time my account does show the subscription.

I tried and it shows regular price, no indication I'm signed up even though I've went through the process twice
