I think that depends. Film captures a lot of information, so the way they scan that film into 4k can help transfer those details.

I spent about $75 on the trilogy in 4K about a year ago. Nice quality but worth $65 more? That's up to you, amigo.

The individual digital movies on iTunes have been as low as $5 each (and in 4K) if price overrides physicality.

only shows multi format now for this price. Click on Blu ray and it says not able to be played on players in NA.

I have this set and the two Dollars movies looks pretty rough with lots or print damage. I think it's be worth getting in 4k just for cleaner prints.

As the 4k versions weren't encoded with HDR and have the same DTS audio track as the Blu-rays I don't think you're missing much going with the Blu-ray.
