Edit: Wohoo!! I managed to get best buy to price match it. It took 3-4 hours chatting with different representatives until one finally budged and gave me the price match of $512! Funny thing is I almost gave up before the last rep said they'd match it. Out of stock in my local town so I drove an hour away to a neighbor state to pick it up. My advice to anyone: keep asking new best buy chat reps. Don't get discouraged. Persistence is key. Good luck!

Its not an issue. Put it screen side up. Some risk (especially with really large TVs), but this rule was more for plasma tv's which had glass screens.

I have transported numerous LCD, OLED and plasma tv's laying flat. My 48" made it over 4 hours flat, using it right now
