OOS so I just picked this one up instead. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RYOBI-ON...ect=mobile
Almost jumped on this but realized they're not HP batteries like the ones in the original listing. Will wait a bit longer, but $35 is a great price as well!

I have purchased 20-30 times from this seller. Great prices -- they are home depot returns. Your tradeoff is that they (in my experience) don't really inspect the item. BUT pretty good customer service. if there's any problem you find on opening, they will make it right. For example I got a new dewalt table saw with a mangled box and the fence was damaged. Because returning it for a refund would have been a pain in the butt for me, they were happy to refund me the cost of ordering a new fence from dewalt. Maybe 2 other things I just sent back for an exchange or refund.

So that's the rub. Low prices in exchange for you inspecting it. It's not roulette though where if you get a lemon you're screwed.

Good catch! I was able to order the original listing after a lot of refreshing so I'll be canceling the 2 pack

I've order from this seller before. I had a hold down missing with a table saw. They did a partial refund.

I've purchased about two dozen items from this seller; their prices can't be beat. About 2/3 of the items were brand new unused, with the other 1/3 being lightly used, and a few times missing some negligible items (sample brads/staples, nailer tip, manuals). As mentioned above, they will offer partial refunds for missing/damaged items, but I've heard they will block you if you do it too often. The boxes often arrive beaten to hell, as they just slap the mailing label on the manufacturer's box (one of my items still had the big yellow home depot clearance sign attached to it).

Yes, I've had the same experience. I would say about 1 of 3 things I've bought from them have had significant issues (tool didn't work or missing battery that was advertised). On the flip side, this is how I build my entire Ryobi 40v collection. I've bought this kit (when it cost more) and the only thing wrong was the zipper for the bag that came with it didn't work. However, I've bought other battery kits where one of the batteries wouldn't charge. If you read the negative reviews it does make me nervous that I will be blocked for being up an issue but hasn't happened to me yet.

Good point about being blocked. It's a common practice for big "private" sellers, to block new purchases once you initiate a support case.

I have bought quite a few items from their eBay store and online shopping site (directtoolsoutlet.com).

Direct Tools Factory Outlet sells tools from RYOBI, RIDGID, and Hoover. Probably it is owned by the manufacturer of these brands.

I've purchased a crap ton of stuff from them over the years and they're one of the reasons why I ended up going with Ryobi for homeowner tools. They're too cheap. One downside of this seller is that if you return something, they will block you from ordering the same item in the future. I found this out recently after I had to return a mower with a broken wheel. They just told me to return it, didn't offer a partial refund or anything else. I was going to purchase another one and that's when I found out I was blocked from the mower listing.

Mine just arrived. The box appears to be factory sealed. Will try to charge them later. Pleasantly surprised. Should have bought two. lol

Charged and worked fine.

Mine just arrived as well, box was never opened and the batteries were still sealed in plastic. All worked great.
