I have 2 from hft and both are weak. Gives off a nice spark and snap noise, but somehow doesn't kill house flies on the first contact, but rather stuns them for a couple of seconds and they take off again. We have one at work that kills first time every time.
Anyone have experience with this brand?
(Nvm, just read through the reviews and seems to work the same as hft on house flies. i.e you need to hit them twice to get a kill)
The HF one works....but it is not as easy to hit them in the air mid-flight...yes we do not play tennis. We usually have to trap the flies at the window and wait for contact...they do die on first contact.

This one takes two AA batteries like the one I got from Aldi. Lighter and easier to swing for fast moving insects, but can sometimes lack the killing shock. So it's often more of a direct impact killer. I also have the HF ones and those take two D batteries. HF ones are sturdy and have more killing power and I leave one at every door. $3 when on sale (no batteries)
indoors a better use for your money would be in
screen patch tape and window frame brush tape.
using them where needed will keep the flies out
so you don't have to swat them to begin with.
