1st gen had great ANC at a good price.
2nd gen had worse ANC than the 1st gen at the low-end premium price point, protrude out the ear and use old-school Bluetooth 5.0 for limited battery life and connectivity problems.
3rd gen (available now [amazon.com]) are only $37.49 and better than these. You're literally paying $19.50 more for these than for a brand new pair with Bluetooth 5.2 that are superior in every way. Okay, 3rd gen don't include a charging cable but in every other way.
