Did you see the dimensions? It's the size of a piece of paper.

I might bite. Hopefully this works because down the line hoping to buy the griddle that fits my Weber instead of buying a black stone that'll take up more space on my porch. Worth the price to try

What printer do you use that accepts 19.5" paper?

Do ribbed griddles provide any benefit other than grill lines? I feel like I'd prefer my food to get an even cook/sear over having grill marks

Could just go to Biglots and get a 18"x10" castiron one for 16.99
https://www.biglots.com/product/c...p810520897

Of course it doesn't have the Traeger logo...

FWIW, the non 5-star reviews are mostly related to dimensions (e.g. "Too small...") so double-check those before you buy. One about it apparently snapping in half, and another about it being thin.

Am tempted, myself, but I know I've got too many cast iron thingamabobs and jigs around the house that I already don't use so... Wink

Looks a lot like my Walmart Ozark Trail griddle. Pretty sure it's the same thing minus the name. Dimensions even seem similar especially if Traeger counts the non-cooking surface in their dimensions.

You use the ridged side to cook things that you don't want to cook in fat. And the smooth side for frying.

That being said, yes you'll use the smooth side more often.

As for the size, these things are meant to go over two burners on your stove. That's why it's long and skinny. But an extra inch wouldn't hurt in width. But too wide and you probably start to lose some heat at the edges.

Probably guides fluids away so your meat cooks at high temp rather than boil and steam in it's own juices. I'm no pro griller, just my best guess

This can't be right because steak on flat cast iron skillets is top tier and does not steam the steak
