Why the downvotes? I think it's a good price for a decent machine. It's not the latest and greatest, but the price has come down quite a bit. Read the reviews about people who purchase it for $1500 a few months ago.I actually just ordered this on friday and had them price match after it dropped $100 yesterday

I'm guessing it has to do with the GPU. Either that or the wobbly screen.

i would rather get the 17.3" at microcenter, if I lived near a microcenter. It has a 3070 Ti but with an i7 12th gen. If this is still available next week, I'm going to buy it. I believe people are down voting because HP has throttled the processor and the GPU is low watts and throttled or something like that. It's out performed by laptops with far lower specs...I THINK THIS IS THE HP OMEN THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.

That's what I mean though, the configuration doesn't make any sense because the 3060 and i9 are in completely different classes of their respective categories. An i5 would have been perfectly fine and a much better "match" for the GPU.
