This is the same price it's been for a while at Best buy. It was supposedly the sale was ending llike week or so ago they said but its remained at $299 and the 32" has been $349 the same on sale.
This is different than the model at Best Buy.

Decent deal, I have the older GL850 which is very similar except the refresh rate is 144hz. Overall, good monitor for gaming with a wide color gamut but does have the flaws inherent in all IPS monitors (poor contrast, light bleed). Stand takes up a lot of room too but you can use a monitor arm to solve that. The GL83A is on sale for $250 as well. Similar to GL850 (144Hz refresh) but without the wide color gamut.

Seems a bit steep for a 27". I got a 32" GP750 for $200 a couple months ago.

What's the general consensus recommendation for a 27 inch QHD monitor these days? Trying to finally upgrade from my 1080p sets but I'm overwhelmed with all the options

It is but when you know it is a good panel and very decent ms lag time you will think otherwise.

I brought it for $270 last year around July and it is a very solid 1440p that will do 180Hz with very nice ms lag time which is the most important. Check out the full review and it is holding pretty well. You will need to step into the OLED panel just to KO this monitor panel lag time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I...uU&t=1015s

27" QHD is the best resolution to size sweet spot in my opinion and I have had so many monitors and this is definitely my favorite. Get this and you won't be disappointed. Or if you have Dell discounts get the Dell version….

I'm running a 3080 10GB Founders Edition and have the Dell version of this monitor. Similar specs. Panel is made by LG and just in Dell casing. Dell G2724D is now showing $299.99.

Pretty much there are a lot of okay options in the $200-$350 range. They all mostly have the same features and limitations, with a few differences sprinkled in-between.

There are shitty cheaper models you want to avoid from no-name brands. Likewise, there are IPS monitors in the $400+ range you likely also want to avoid because they don't add a whole lot relative to the monitors in the $200-$350 range. The next step up from $200-$350 range is basically $800 plus with OLED.
