I really 🫶 my 9500's, too. I got them after watching several YT reviews a few years back. Everyone was raving about their low price and sound quality, etc., but I didn't realize what issues open-backed headphones presented if you wanted to use them with others around. They will definitely annoy TV watchers anywhere near, and workmates who hate dubstep. Be warned! 🤭

Yes, the positive side of that is that you can still hear other people, so if someone comes in and asks me something, I can hear them even if I'm listening to music. It also sounds more natural than closed back in my experience. But definitely not as good for privacy

The value sweet spot isn't $240 when a good quality Sennheiser goes for $120...$240 is top of the line and anything above that is for audiophiles.

For 90% of people these for $60 is going to be more than enough.

Had SHP9500， very comfortable. The frequency response much good, and the most importance the price not high.

This one should be at least same as 9500, am I right?

is there any reason there aren't any over ear open back bluetooth headphones? everything i see is wired or not open back. If anyone can recommend any that I can't find in a search please do. For now i'll try these with a 3.5mm bt adapter.

Actually there are. Grado GW100x.

Your plan is solid though. Get a decent BT Adapter (Fiio for example) and the sound quality will be much better than the "adapter" that manufacturer put in their headphones. The only downside is it doesn't look quiet as "clean"
