I use this all the time to keep track of who's selling my info by setting "something" to be the name of the website. If I start to get random emails to this +company address, I can effectively block everyone they sold my info to by blocking all emails sent to this address

Mind you, I exclusively buy iPhones and I wouldn't dream of buying another phone, but I'll tell you when Apple is unimaginably bad at something and their team for the Apple TV app is unimaginably incompetent.
They actually were stupid enough to come up with this idea of switching all movie poster art to a 16:9 horizontal orientation as opposed to the classic vertical orientation that looks good and literally everyone else uses. What did this result in? My library of movies on Apple (yes, I have movies on my Apple account too sadly), has numerous numerous movies where the artwork is truncated and looks completely imperfect due to their embarrassingly bad idea.
In conclusion: if you can avoid using Apple do it. The only benefit to Apple's library is that they freely upgrade HD purchases to UHD when the movie gets upgraded by the studio and resubmitted to digital platforms.
