Don't waste your $$ on this. You have to be on top of it to feel any heat.

I bought it a few years ago. The gas valve is at the bottom. It will be more convenient if you put it on a table that have umbrella hole and connect to propane tank with a hose than connect it to the propane cylinder type directly.

Bought this last year at this price when it was a front page deal - this is junk. We put it through the umbrella hole in our table. You'd be lucky to roast a marshmallow over this thing. Flame is less than a bic lighter. Highly recommend everyone pass on this.

Yep. As I've learned over the 15+ years I've been a slickdeals guy - sometimes even things that are free are a waste of time/effort.

That said, I read the reviews & it looks as if a few folks were able to buy this for around $20. BUT, that was before all this hyper-inflation hit us like a ton of brick firepits. LOL

I think this 'gadget' is perfect for a city-dwelling guy/girl that might have this on their small patio/deck just for a little a little bit of ' soft ambiance' while entertaining.

All THAT said, I think if I saw this for maybe $15 or less, I'd buy it (if anything, I'd like to take it apart just to see how it's designed). LOL

Bottom line: IF YOU BUY IT... DO NOT BUY IT FOR WARMTH... BUY IT FOR THE AESTHETICS. 🕯️👍🏼

What altitude are you at? I got the round one last year and haven't tried it. We're in the Rockies, so not sure if it'll work without adjusting the orifice. Might be able to drill it out a little and get a better flame. Not really recommended, but it worked with my grill. I did LP conversions after that and learned some things. I would have bought a selection of drill bits to slowly step it up, had I known.

I bought a similar one to this a few years back, it looks the same except mine has maybe 4" glass sides. It works great for ambiance, it's not there for heat. I have a small balcony and it sits in the umbrella hole of my table for some pretty flames. Regarding the questions of elevation, I'm at 4700 ft and it works fine.

The flames are not huge, but much larger than a BIC lighter. I suppose you could roast a marshmallow if you wanted.

OP here. Just received it and tested it. Getting mostly a blue flame and at its peak the flame may reach an inch or so. Going any higher results in a noisier gas flame. Not much light coming off it so prob only good to roast a mallow off it. Keep your expectations low.
Spin zone: unique way to hide the umbrella hole in your table if you dont have/use an umbrella.

Ya, I've been on since 2014. My brother tried to get me on here a few years before.
