Is this TLC or QLC? Does anyone know how the 4TB A440 Pro would compare to the 4TB WD SN850X?

Edit: description says it's TLC, but if anyone can chime in on how it compares to the SN850X, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know if the new style "Pro Aluminum" heatsink will fit in a PS5? I didn't see any overall physical dimensions of the drive with that heatsink installed in the specs. I know it will fit the PS5 with just the thin graphene heatsink.

Edit: It's 19mm tall with the "Pro Aluminum" heatsink installed. It won't fit with the factory ssd cover installed on the PS5.

Ssd specs from Teamgroup website:
80.0(L) x 22.0(W) x 3.7(H) mm (with Graphene heat sink)
80.0(L) x 23.0(W) x 19(H) mm (with Aluminum heat sink)

Ssd size requirements from PS5 website:
Size including heat-dissipation mechanismWidth: up to 25 mm
Length: 30/40/60/80/110 mm
Thickness: up to 11.25 mm (up to 8.0 mm from above the board, up to 2.45 mm from below the board

From the picture in reviews, it looks like it didn't meet specs for people (towards the bottom of the review pictures).

There is also a video showing it doesn't fit with cover on, but seems one person is rocking it without a cover.

The non-Pro hcomes with two heatsinks. One is advertised to fit with the PS5 cover on and another without the cover. Not sure if the pro version comes with a second lower profile cooler or not.

It doesn't. Not recommend for PS5
Don't run without heatsink and cover off, that's not what the PS5 was designed for.

There are two slots below the cover that are suppose to pull air from the SSD compartment when the cover is on (negative pressure from the main fan draw.) Leaving the cover off will not allow this negative pressure to form, but not tested if the giant heat sink will work efficiently enough to draw heat from the phison controller. Not to mention the giant heat sink will obstruct airflow to the fan…

This Tom's Hardware test seems to show cover of is better for temperature of the ssd.

Based on reviews, A440 is 96 layer flash and A440 pro is the newer version with 176 layer flash.

Really tempted to pull the trigger on the 4tb, but hoping to see it come down to $180-200 as I need 3 for photo storage. Cheapest TLC Dram nvme 4tb price I have seen so far with the 850x at $229 a few months ago. Should I wait?
