I have one and it's pretty cheap. The split top does suck, but we "fixed it" with a couple of screws and plates from home depot for a few bucks. Got 30% back as a consolation from the seller which made it palatable. Would not recommend this brand.

The only nice thing I have to say about it was that installation was pretty simple and the included riser puts the monitor at a ergonomic height.

How'd you end up "fixing" it? Just curious because I'm thinking about getting one of these desk's.

I bought a mono-price single motor stand ($73) from Walmart and put in a 55" wood piece from existing table...so far so good

This is what I'm looking for. Any links to that deal or is it gone? I have a nice IKea desktop that we put some makeshift legs on for my nephew. He no longer needed the desk and I have it now, but he was taller than me and it's a little too high. I'd like to just upgrade the legs on it.

May I ask what's wrong with a split top desk? Smilie Haven't owned one yet but I see this comment often and couldn't find anything on Google about why it's bad.

I see an Amazon review that says it makes the desk look cheap. Having a seam down part of the desk is probably why. I'm just guessing

I would really like a deal to roll through for 4 leg 3 stage. This and many other recent desk deals have too high a minimum height and are meant for 6' tall or taller people. No love for short folk.

I have a split top 63" (3piece) which didn't look that great initially but I put a large desk size XXL mouse mat on top and for the past year its been working just fine. Mouse glides perfectly fine for both work tasks and for competitive fps shooters.

I bought something similar sith a cheap particle board split top. I replaced the top with a sanded and finished butcher block top and it has done me well. A pretty easy single day DIY upgrade if you want a top with more heft. Just make sure you check the weight requirements of your setup with the top.

I have a split top from a different brand and have no issues with it. Don't normally notice it. Cheap at $150 and single motor and fit the need a year and half ago with working from home.

And with all the crap on my desk even less. Laptop, laptop stand widescreen monitor and monitor pedestal stand. Plus keyboard mouse and all my snack lol

Only complaint is the top has a slick feel to it and leaves water marks occasionally from sweating glasses.
