I have 3 of Nuphy keyboards and here are my experiences after 1-2 years of using:

Pro: looks good, feels good, swap a new switch and it feels new. Build quality is ok for the price. Sounds good too for the price.

Con: only issue, keycap gets worn quick, especially if you use certain keys often. Prepare to buy new sets but maybe not from them because the new set i got from them starts to gets the oily shine in about two months.

Do you have both the Air and Halo versions? If so, which one do you prefer?

So the keycaps are the shitty ABS type?

I have 2 Air75, red and brown switches. Brown one is addictive to use. It's overall very good. Swapping means you can switch key switches that wear out quickly (WASD for me) with the keys you rarely use. 1000hz polling rate is a must-have for rhythm game players.

I would be more interested in the field 75 instead of air 2... also, I'm surprised that they switched from Cherry to Gateron. I have never used any keyboard without Cherry switches - not that I don't trust others, but cherry is an old brand, that's it.

Yes i have 2 air, 1 halo.
Definitely the Halo, more choice on the switches and better sound.

But if you have a mac and like to travel and carry a keyboard air is pretty good, and maybe you can wait for new low profile switches that provide good typing sound profile.

Wanted to talk bad about this keyboard but looking over the specs my sole complaint is that there are no optical switches.

I specifically like that they even mention latency testing (almost nobody does) and that have linux software.

Remove the "free" keycaps (that weigh and take up virtually no space) - and magically the shipping drops to $15

What a scam.

I would not spend $120 on a keyboard using clone switches. Clones are acceptable and expected on cheap starter kits, but definitely not at this price point

I have Air 60 and Halo 75. the air is for travel and the keycaps have a nice texture feel. It's a light board and the keys are low profile so feel lighter to press short presses.

The Halo is a metal nice heavy chunky guy. Sits solid on desk and has the full tactile feel. Feels productive to use it. The Halo keycaps feel almost similar when it comes to the shine through and the regular. The Air plastic caps feel nicer in my opinion but the actual pressing and use feels better on Halo but Halo isn't for moving around. It's a heavy thick board. If you use one and then the other, youll feel a dramatic change in experience. Air 60 right shift button is small so many people dont like it since they can miss it. but then you do get a small mechanical board

Absolutely no consideration to purchase any item that has a 30 dollar shipping charge.

Get the wisteria switches. You'll thank me. I switched from browns to these and they are perfect. I have had no issues with my 2 air 75s. Also get a wriest rest
