From the point view of product classification this should be a $599 laptop with last gen i5 and 50 video card. But they are jacking up the price too much

The value isn't good, low SRGB screen, 4050 is basically a 3060, 8GB of ram is a joke in 2023, CPU is fine but it is older now. This would be a good deal at $550 or less imo.

I've only seen laptops with vastly inferior Nvidia 3050s for 500ish or less. Are there 4050s or 3060s laptops that hit the $500s range?

8GB of RAM is indeed a joke and an additional 8GB of DDR5 RAM only costs like $20 on Amazon so it is strange why they (MSI and other companies like Lenovo, etc) cheaped out on something that is so cheap by having only 8GB of RAM.

Yes, but none of this means that the value of this laptop is good, or this is a good deal unfortunately. Also the Microcenter HP for $400 is the best deal I have seen recently
