This is getting to the bottom of the routers one would use due to weak hardware - skip.

Earliest and closest DD-WRT download I find is here [dd-wrt.com].

BrainSlayer himself posted about the following month's release here [linksysinfo.org].

Several more separate releases follow before AC67s are (apparently) folded into AC68s.

Info on third-party FW for this model was hard to find. Anyone try flashing it, please post your results.

Not bad considering this supports AIMesh. I wouldn't use it as a standalone but if you already have a mesh setup, this could give you a bit more coverage in hard to reach spots.
