Downside includes: fans at full blare even for basic productivity tasks, gets way too hot to place anywhere near your lap, abysmal battery life, and terrible keyboard/touchpad/display. Bad thermals also means the thing throttles a lot, too. The lone USB Type-C port is data only w/out DP Alt mode or PD capability. Also, the proprietary AC adapter is bigger than your typical brick.
Positives: you can play most games you throw at it, assuming you can keep it properly cooled. Cheap. A notebook equivalent of Dodge Neon SRT.

Yeah, desktop versions are more powerful than laptop versions. Rtx 4050 Win by 6% over the 3060 laptop version. We could consider they have the same power.
