Pic reminds me of how good it was and how bad it got. The writing in the later seasons was horrible.

I felt the same way for a while, but towards the end of his run, Cappaldi actually had some amazing episodes. Some of the best of the new series in my opinion.

Of course, after Cappaldi, it all just fell apart...

A lot of the original footage is lost.

They'd have to pay me to watch any of the nonsense they made after Matt Smith's departure.

I have every single episode of Dr. Who, all the way back to the beginning. It took many weeks to download them all and they take up a large chunk of hard drive. It includes all the original series Seasons 1-26, all the newer seasons, the specials, movies, etc. It's over 300 GB of data but it was worth it.
Wow! That's amazing! You need to call BBC right away being they are missing nearly 100 episodes. It's amazing you have them all while BBC doesn't. *sarcasm*

I have all the refound episodes. Obviously, the ones that were destroyed or purged as they called it, no one has. Perhaps instead of picking points of contention on threads, you could work on your rep here and help where you can. God bless you and have a great weekend!

This is not a deal. Like the other negative reviews in this thread, the last few years have been impossible (for me) to get involved with. I have been watching since the Baker years and then caught up with Pertwee later on. Pertwee is my tied for my second favorite Doctor.
I am looking forward to the next Doctor! Hopefully the writers will live up to the character's and actor's worthiness.
I was lucky to be in London when Tom was signing autographs and have a picture with the mad genius.

An important question to ask would be if this set will be playable in Region A (USA, etc) or, since it is being produced by the BBC (saw no mention of Disney involvment, just saying), will it be Region B? It could be regionless if they go to the effort. I can't find anything definitive online so far. I do have an all-Region player, but would prefer if they were Region A...

It includes all the original series Seasons 1-26, all the newer seasons, the specials, movies, etc. It's over 300 GB of data but it was worth it. Sadly, the early seasons are not that great of quality as you can imagine from before we had HD TV's and such. Still it is very cool thing to have in my collection as I'm a big TV buff.

I also have complete collections of Little House on the Prairie, Gilligan's Island, Dukes of Hazzard, Seinfeld, MASH, Cosby show, I Love Lucy, The Honeymooners, I Dream of Genie, The Waltons, All in the Family, Golden Girls, Star Trek, Andy Griffith, Happy Days, Flintstones, Jetsons, Twilight Zone, Friends, Incredible Hulk, Alfred Hitchcock, A-Team, Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galactica, Maude, Mama's Family, McHale's Navy, Brady Bunch, Miami Vice, Adams Family, Mork & Mindy, Chips, Outer Limits, Dragnet, Facts of Life, Sanford & Son, Good Times, Fresh Prince, The Jeffersons and more.

I use multiple 16GB external hard drives. I still have a ton of shows that I'm trying to track down and get, but some are proving very difficult. Lately I been working on Hee-Haw which sadly, not all episodes have ever been released after they aired. One reason is because the network that owns them, says that some of the earlier episodes are now considered racist or not politically correct in todays society. So because of that, they refuse to release all the older episodes on DVD or let them be issued as reruns. They do allow select episodes to be released as you can find special DVD's and even Time Life put out some of their shows. However, it's just the select ones that the network approved for release.

Another project I'm gonna work on when I have time, is to get all the Disney movies and TV shows, going all the way back to the beginning. That will be easier as that stuff is readily available, but it will entail a HUGE amount of download work and new Hard Drives to store them on. It will probably take several months of downloading once I begin, so I have put it off while I concentrate of completing my list of other classic shows.
So you are basically saying you are a thief!

Never was a DW fan but absolutely fell in love with it with the modern series.
That was until they decided the Dr. needed to be a girl and the show turned into a disaster. I barely made it through the version with the female Dr. as the episodes were so horrible. Somehow they were able to make it even worse with the next Dr. I watched 4 or 5 episodes and was done. I don't even know what happened after that. I've not seen any mention of another Dr, so I assume the reaction of most was like mine and the show finally died.

Are you watching the correct show? The female Dr was the last Dr and that series just ended. They have a few transition shows this year with David Tennant back as the Dr before Ncuti Gatwa takes over.

Russell T. Davies didn't want to come back to the show, but BBC was going to cancel the show. Chris Chibnall's seasons were unwatchable, which is a shame because the sexist pigs will blame Whittaker. I watched Flux and after watching it I don't even know what happened.

You should watch Capaldi's final season, one of the best of the modern era. A lot better than Smith's last season.

Since the promo code is San Diego Comic Con (SDCC), I'm hoping us folks across the pond from the TARDIS homeland can play it region-less but I don't have a definitive answer either.

The "About" page for the website is clearly in need of an update but indicates that they use region locking and this will be region A. However, they reference HD-DVD and Blu-ray as competing new formats.
