Am I missing something, or am I the only one frustrated by these Costco ads that show the amount off but you can't find out the price?

I believe their prices vary somewhat by region so they wouldn't put all of them in the national ad

How's the coconut shrimp?
Too sweet. It's telling that my kids, who otherwise love shrimp and love any fried food, don't like it.

How are the beef Frank's
Better than ball park or Oscar Meyer. But it's still a processed beef frank. They're great for a quick snack or your Labor Day cookout

anyone care to comment on that barramundi? not by itself, I found online that it's "mild flavour and a white, flaky flesh, with varying amount of body fat", but does it resemble anything that's more common like cod, halibut, tilapia, etc. ?
We like it in our family. Gets devoured by the teenagers too. Not like cod for me. For sure light and flaky. I think a step above tilapia.

This was the rare sale on Premier Protein that I was looking for, 24.49 in-store. Only bad thing is they stopped carrying strawberry in store last month

Also has been awhile since the triple berry frozen fruit was on sale for 4 dollars off

The exact two things I wanted to get

Not really. Costco's prices are pretty much unbeatable so you're still getting a good deal anyways. The extra savings is just a bonus for me. But I do agree that it would be nice if they advertised the prices.
That's funny!

Also they don't really mess with prices, so as members, you kind of know what the deal is by the $ offโ€ฆI remember initially being annoyed by it.
It is slightly different by region. One Costco near me is in a Hispanic city. This Costco has avocado at a certain price. I go to a Costco 5miles away in a non-Hispanic city, and avocado is $1-2 cheaper. Different items are sold in different Costcos too.

But, avocado is never on sale. Maybe it is a bad example. ๐Ÿ˜‡

Way to take things literally and pick one item. I'm referring to as a whole. You won't find better prices as a whole which is why you're a member at Costco. I guarantee you ain't shopping at Staples for most of your general use purposes. There's a reason their membership retention rate is unparalleled in the business and why their revenue in the past three years shot up 50%. People are saving money by shopping at Costco.

Your K-Cup example ignores that Costco has a ton of variety at cheaper prices. Their Kirkland K-Cups are way better with 120 cups for around $35. The K-Cups you listed routinely go on sale for $37... If you can find those prices regularly at other stores, show me. Every K-Cup brand practically has an $8 coupon every other month.

Yes but I still wish individual stores could just update their pricing on Costco's website when you search by store. It would take a few minutes for an employee to walk around the store and record the prices after coupon. Not a deal-breaker for me but knowing the price of an individual store definitely helps shoppers.

That's not their business model. They want you to browse CostCo in store to find stuff.

They don't want to be an Amazon where you buy a single item or two and be done.

One my favorite activities on weekends is going to CostCo to buy a list of items, and finding unexpected items that are novel to try.

Buying at CostCo I know most of the time I'm getting a great deal so don't even have to price compare to other places.

Also, if you click on an item, enter an address, it will then show the price.
Unfortunately, in Central NJ the ShopRite has sales that more often then not beat Costco. This is why knowing the actual price helps. Otherwise, I can't be bothered.

I understand the biz model and what they hope to do but..."Doubt is a dealbreaker" when it comes to closing a sale.

I'm allergic but the rest of my family greatly prefers the package from Trader Joe's. Hot and miss inventory in the one on 6th ave.
