Sadly, not for me due to screen flicker (PWM) which is rarely used on the ThinPad line.

Although technically 2 generations old, these 5625U/5825U CPUs are still very good, they are based on Zen 3 architecture. The 7530U and 7730U processors are just rebrands of these processors.

If you have an Amex card, check your Amex Offers for $100 off $500 at Lenovo - that makes this really slick!

Still no. Mine was $502 after tax. Going through the previous comments I'm guessing $500 after tax should be ok. Fingers crossed 🤞

Actually I contacted an Amex rep prior to receiving mine, and she told me wait until the transaction status changes from pending to posted, and told me $500 was a pre-tax threshold, which is obviously wrong. I bet you will receive it tomorrow.

they have no way of knowing what is or is not tax. i done this before and if it posts as over 500 it doesnt matter how much is tax or shipping as long as it posts to the CC statement as over 500

This seems to be the same Intel i5 version, with pen but 1 year warranty if you wish to prioritize pen. Still would like to get thoughts on this for those that missed out on the Ryzen 7 or versus Ryzen 5.

These have a high USB-C charging port failure. My work laptop (the i5 version) which was under the enterprise warranty, underwent motherboard change twice for the charging port failure within 18 months.

If you're buying this laptop, ensure that you get a 3 year warranty.

Not worth the extra money. AMD has more cores. The webcam is different also. The only benefit of getting intel version is the thunderbolt port and probably higher graphics ram. Backlit keyboard.

Its better get the older Latitude and Thinkpad with power port only, 90% less failure rate and 90% cheaper to repair. 2021 is all went down hill with USBC pd only


There growing reports of USBC PD failure within 3 years. I rare see power port failure in 9 years under normal conditions. Lenovo/Dell still coming up with fixes as usbc pd 65-95 watt isn't fully mature. It got so bad Apple went back to magsafe lol
