This Contadina tomato paste is $1.76 each at Walmart. If you have room to store 12 cans, I think this deal is worth buying at $0.88 each (even lower w/ 15% S&S).

Nice deal, but I never need so much paste at once, and it's hard to store opened cans. I use the squeeze tubes instead, but want to hear about other use cases.

Excellent deal.

I do agree that if you've got a small family (say 2 people), not too many recipes will call for 12oz of paste all at once. Heck, that's why the small cans are sold. Larger families making nearly anything Italian, lol, it shouldn't be a problem.

All that said, with this deal the larger cans are going for the same price as the tiny ones. So you shouldn't feel too bad only using 2/3rd a can.

I just put leftovers in a ziploc bag, flatten it, and throw it in the freezer. When I need it, I just break off a piece. But I admit, I only do it if there is a significant amount left over.
