These have been going on sale regularly lately. There must have been a large sardine catch.

I've bought 24 so far. They are very good.

I bought the green chili version of these. There's nothing wrong with them but I will say just texture-wise I've had better tinned fish in my life.

Cause these are sprats not sardines, smaller fish and slimy/watery/oily. I tried this a couple sales ago, can't finish what I have opened cause I get so grossed out, tried cooking parts, nope and gave the rest away. As with food, an sure some ppl won't mind.

Smaller oily fish. More abundant.

I had a tin for the first time in my life a few days ago because Rhonda Whatsherface was gushing over them. I shared with cat. He loved them. I didn't vomit and might eat more. Everyone rejoice.

Whenever there's a coupon for Beach Cliff, they usually also apply for Brunswick Sardines. They're owned by the same company and are significantly higher quality for not too much more in price.

The mustard ones are quite good if you're into that sort of thing.

Sprats are a more manageable fish stock than sardines, which are of the same variety (violin vs viola) so instead of 3/4 sardines you get like 8-10 Sprats. Same fish, same process, same consistency, don't listen to anyone who tells you different. There actually is a difference between solid white albacore and chunk light tuna; there is NO difference between sardines and sprats except size, which is already pretty variable and sprats and sardines are regularly confused by size.
