Just a heads up, this thing gets hot as HELL. I've also had issues with leaving it connected to power (like a docking station) where the ethernet connection doesn't work unless I disconnect power to the adapter, plug it in, and then plug it in to my laptop.

100w input and 85w output specified in one of the graphic pages; flip through the images on the Amazon page to verify. Can't attach a screen shot here or I would. The 15w loss is converted to heat energy and therefore likely explains the heating issue noted above.

Ok now we are making progress. Finally a hub with USB 3.2 inputs that are reasonable and that you don't have to order from Aliexpress.

Worth it in my opinion .. FYI I have voted down every USB-C hub I could that didnt have 3.1 or above.

The newer one quoted here only does 4k@30hz. But the OP one does 4K@60hz. For those who have a 4k monitor, 60hz is a must.

Whenever this happens, I just assume someone was looking for a particular thing and then found a deal, which then prompts their competitors to post deals, and it starts spiraling

Anyone happen to know if you could tether this with an iphone, using a USB cable, to use it as a hot spot pass-thru to a Steam Deck? I can't use the iphone wifi hotspot because it continually times-out.
It seems Apple is making it hard to use a USB hotspot thru a hub or a docking station. Anyone happen to know?

As others have said, this thing gets hot, and then malfunctions. Hard drive disconnects. Not a good product. You've been warned.
