All I saw at first was 'Spirit Medium' and thought this was some sorta of seance at first.

This mattress meets oeko-tex standard 100. Maybe true for other brands, but unfair to label this as harmful simply because it's cheap.

Lots of these cheap mattresses have a fiberglass fire barrier, which is something to consider for health effects. Even some of the not so cheap mattresses brands like nectar have fiberglass too.

how do you know this when shopping for these, and are there any brands you know they don't have it? dies this one have it? It's an amazing deal.

I have tried the Zinus Night Therapy mattresses from Sam's Club and they are very good. No experience with these Walmart brands. Anyone have experience with them?

And is this 'layer' somehow exposed to the sleeper, or are these 'health effects' more in the supernatural realm and caused just by proximity?

Sometimes it's right in the listing, sometimes it's on the mattress tag itself. Contacting customer support might give you some answers or sometimes they won't say yes or no, which usually means yes. Googling fiberglass free mattresses will give you lots of companies which explicitly advertise no fiberglass as a feature. Off the top of my head I know winkbed and saartva are fiberglass free

where do you see that this mattress is oeko-tex? also I wasn't able to find any info on oeko-tex website about fiberglass.

There are lots of reviews of beds containing fiberglass on Amazon with pictures showing fiberglass spread around the room/houseā€¦ there is also this class action lawsuit https://www.classaction.org/fiber...s-lawsuits

I'm sure some beds are better than others at containing it, maybe they even totally contain itā€¦. I'd just rather not have to worry about it
