If they can, it's a good charging cable for home.
I much prefer to buy proper data cables, not some USB 2.0 garbage. (That's like apple "lightning" speed, yikes...) The reason is that I travel a lot. I won't want to carry a separate cable for data transfer. That would just be silly.
