Just last month, I went to their website and cancelled my year-long subscription (from last year's paramount+ offer) and it was simple and hassle free. You just hit cancel like any other website.

EDIT: Ah, I see what you mean now. When you use the extension, they require you to call them. Lame.
Thanks for taking one for the team.

That's why I use a one-time use card number. They can't charge it again
This is what I did. Got me another month out of it that way. They continue to make threats about canceling my account if I did not update my payment info. Then they canceled it but not my paramount. That lasted another 2 weeks.

It gave me the "premium" subscription with Showtime

Be careful with these deals. SportsLine is a pain to cancel and can't do it immediately or will lose Paramount+.
Have to call their customer service then wait for an email, so make sure to set a reminder.
Yes, definitely use a virtual credit card! I'm glad I did last time when I came time for me to cancel I forgot and had used a priv act. Com temp card. Since privacy notified me when they tried to charge....they charged(well tried) daily for like 2 weeks straight.

this is a scam from Sportline. Last time it was advertised as 99 cents, and my final order page showed 99 cents, but my credit card get charged the full regular price. Charge is being disputed.

Check your credit card to make sure they charge correct amount

what exactly is this link do? it takes me to a page and asks me to login to my sportsline account, then seems to be back to p+ create account page. i already have three p+ accounts, not sure what will happen if i enter a new identity. or should i try to see if i can use my existing p+ account...

edit: i went ahead and login with my existing p+ account and it says i need an active sportsline subscription. i prefer the "18" months sportsline deal last year. $4.99 for 7mo isn't attractive to me since i rarely use p+ and never used sportsline.

Is this the same tier of Paramount+ that one gets with Walmart+ or is this ad-free?

I had an old prepaid rebate debit card that I needed to use, and this deal works perfectly because now there's not enough of a balance left for Sportsline to charge for any renewals.

Seems like a good deal but I'm a little skeptical that it will last the full 7 months. Sportsline's site only mentions 30 days of Paramount+.

Late last year, I got the SportsLine Paramount+ Premium deal that was 12 months of SportsLine for $10 and you get to keep Paramount+ Premium as long as you have it connected to SportsLine. Then, I did what other people said to do and cancelled SportsLine and they offered another 6 months if I kept it. I took the offer and then cancelled anyways. Got 18 months of Paramount+ Premium for $10. Lol.

That is unfortunate. It's not a scam but they really screwed up on your account.

Worked great for me. I'm good until March 29, 2024! Charged my CC $4.99.

It appears that it came with Showtime too! It shows up in the top banner on my P+ app on my iPhone.

Signed up, used a virtual credit card (card expires next month), set up Paramount+, went to cancel Sportsline and it immediately offered me 4 more months.

I forgot was a previous Paramount+ customer under that email, but it worked fine (I never had Showtime under this account).

I've seen that mentioned on some of the previous deals (that I missed) but I beleive it lasted the length of the membership.

If I'm wrong, at worst, I got Showtime and Paramount+ for $4.99 for the month.

I just post it because it helps linking. Sorry it didnt work for you. You can always create another account with a different email to try. The 18 month deal was awesome. Just do a free month evry now and then with virtual cc. There are so many codes.

Can anyone explain exactly what happens when you attempt to cancel? What does the website say? What to do they say when you call them - do they give you a hassle about canceling? I received the 99 cents deal for six months after canceling (and then canceling my cancel). I set a reminder to cancel a week before the promotion period is up. In my account settings, I see an icon for "Cancel". Is this icon not going to work? Or when I click on it to cancel, will the website provide a phone number to call? Can anyone provide more details about this?

As of a few weeks ago, you cannot successfully link a sportsline account to an already existing Paramount account. I needed to create another Paramount account with a different email. And then the link (to link a sportline account to Paramount account) worked fine. I just needed to copy saved items in My List from the old Paramount account to the new one.

I tried to create a new P+ account and it said I already had one under that account (oops, I forgot), so I logged into that old account and it worked fine.

You might want to search Slickdeals for "Sportsline" and see how canceling worked for others in the older threads.

I paid for mine with a virtual credit card that will have expired before then and doesn't have a limit high enough to even renew for a single month if they try. I'll click cancel before then, but I figure I'm covered even it becomes a hassle.
