Fo sure its tempting to buy. But dont really need it. The best real IMO of the the inventory glut workdown still is the Crucial P5 Plus 80 buck fo 2TB. This ranks up there as the WD is the kind of NVME drives for now.

All these discounts on 1 and 2tb drives. Ready for some extreme cuts on 4tb and elusive 8tb ssds.

Me being lazy but due to statfields imminent release wanting to upgrade my desktop on the cheap, how does this compare to say the samsung 990 that I saw here the other day? I have a 500GB samsung sata SSD boot drive now that it is pretty full (along with several spinning disks for data).

It's dead. Those deals like the MSI rebates ones that are worth it sell out within minutes.

For games and most other regular activities it doesn't make a noticeable difference if you already have some sort of SSD.

Here is a link to a TomsHardware review of the 990: https://www.tomshardware.com/revi...d-review/2

Wow $50 for the 2TB SN770 would have been a great deal. Looks like it was a quick blip and then was gone.

Why are people upvoting when clearly this isn't a deal? Deal alerts are made worthless.
