This is a great deal! These towels are very thin but you can't really beat the price unless you buy used. I bought 2 sets at the regular price to donate the bath towels to a local TNR program. They have to bring 2 towels per cat that they are getting fixed and these towels worked great for that. I kept the hand towels and wash cloths for myself and they are perfectly fine. The wash cloths are actually better than most that come in multipacks.

Not in stores but you can find used towels at thrift stores, yard sales, and eBay.

This is by far the worst towel set I've ever owned. Imagine all the worst qualities in a towel, that's what you get. The bath towel size doesn't even wrap around an average adult (size 34 waist). I only got this set because I had a fire and needed some cheap towels quick, but at best these only work for kids.

Yeah, they really are that bad. On the other hand, around the same time, Walmart had this Hotel Style Egyptian Cotton 10 piece set for $15 which were actually really nice towels. Honestly, the towels sold in Walmart are really bad (with the exception of the Hotel Style brand). Mainstays are the absolute worst, BH&G aren't great, definitely not worth the money. I find it difficult to buy a towel online though. Costco has had some great towels, but usually stores like Job Lot or Ollie's (discount stores) you can find a good batch of towels at good prices.

Damn, I think you sold me on these laugh out loud. I hate plush, heavy, fluffy towels that feel like you need a dozen passes to actually dry yourself off.

Yup. The two $8.97 colors are out of stock.
But the 5 other $13.97 colors are still available.
