I got an i6+ from one of the sales previously. It's good but I can tell the battery is dying quicker since it doesn't finish in one round any longer. It runs twice a day and it needs to charge 2-3 times on one run.
As an owner of a J7+ (non mop version) and Roborock S7 Plus (not MaxV). They both have pros and cons. Relative to the Roborock S7, the J7 is:
+ Better carpet cleaning with dual brushes
+ Able to under one of our couch since it doesn't have the lidar top-mounted sensor
+ Slight better at avoiding things left out, like cables or socks. Also, P.O.O.P guarantee
+ Definitely built like a tank
+ Some app features, like saved custom zones, such as around a pets cage.
+ Mine doesn't have the mop, but bringing the mop above the unit I'veheard is nice to make sure the carpet doesn't get wet.
- Not the best battery life. Larger jobs have it spend a long time charging
- General navigation is much better with lidar, versus this camera.
- Other usability issues: Cancelling a job it can get in a state where it needs to go back to the base before starting a new one.
Solid unit if you prioritize carpet/rug cleaning. Great price, so thumbs up. Still, I'd go go with a lidar model if that's not your focus. Roborock frequently has similar sales on eBay and many models to pick from.

My i7+ seems to have a ridiculously small battery. Ifixit sells a bigger one, at least for my model, but I decided to just wait and get a vacuum with more features (like the Roborock S8 Ultra) if I find a deal I like.

Agreed on everything you said. Good vacuuming performance and obstacle avoidance but lags behind Roborock in all other areas.
