These are the upgraded U6H models (local dimming).

Still a slow panel at 60HZ, but probably the best deal/value in this size/price point at the moment.

50" seems to be the best value - $100 off regular price.

I'm waiting for the 50 inch U6K, as it's supposed to have a next Gen 3.0 tuner to get 4k OTA broadcasts. For whatever reason they haven't released the 50 inch yet.

Picked up one of these recently at Target. Really enjoying it with my Xbox Series S. I don't care much about faster refresh rates at this price.
main complaint most people have on these panels is that they don't do blacks well in low light, but it still looks tons better than my aging 1080p tv.

rtings says it's pretty average for sports, with a noticeable motion blur.

ATSC 3.0 is starting to be encrypted by broadcasters, and no current tuners support encrypted broadcasts. You'd be better off getting an external tuner later anyway.

Give me a guess how much I'd appreciate the picture over a 2016 Vizio E Series…

Had a 50" U6H and 50" U6G... recommend to avoid both for these reasons (YMMV):
- double screen has been a recurring issue for the past year despite the software updates and "fixes"
- processor is really slow (even compared to my 2013 Samsung curved TV)
- memory sucks and runs out quickly if you plan on using this as a smart tv (e.g., not using external devices like google/apple/fire TV); I literally only had a half dozen video apps (e.g., netflix, disney+) and it constantly reminds me that my TV is running low on memory
- TV have quality issues where it doesn't turn on every few weeks... the solution is to unplug the TV's power cord, then replug it in. Easy solution, but annoying that it happens as frequently as it does.

I have had better experiences with TCL, but honestly will stick with Samsung and LG when they're on sale. Definitely not touching Hisense again until their reputation significantly improves.
