Was looking for a large screen TV with Dolby atmos and Q-Symphony support to work with some of the sound bar systems currently discounted as part of the edu, EPP... programs. This ~$450 cheaper than the next best price I found from a reputable seller.

I did not get the 10% discount from chat. However, the chat agent was able to add the 2-year extended warranty form Samsung for free.

Total for TV + 2-year Samsung+ + Tax (Texas) = 1290.87 - 5% CB at Paypal

I was able to get the 10% chat discount just now.

Total $1,073 + $65 Tax = $1,138 - 5% Paypal = $1,081
If you go to your cart it will show you the coupon code can you please share it.

Will we ever get to affordable 90"+ TVs? It seems like we are stuck at 86 currently. Anything bigger goes straight to 10 or 20K. What's the technological delay? Is it really hard to make real gargantuan TVs? Can someone please educate me?

How did you get discount on EPP price - when I asked chat support they can't override the EPP discount and giving back the same EPP price. No coupons are working on EPP price ($1192.49)

I'm having a hard time finding reviews on this set. I'm upgrading from a 5 year old Vizio so I'm sure this is almost certainly better in any measurable metric. That said, I need reassurance it's not a total POS.

How is it $1073.24? Used both teacher discount and 10% discount and came out to $1397.68

Funny i was just having this conversation. I bought an 86 inch black Friday and when is said and done it doesn't feel that big in my family room. I almost feel like I need a 100 inch to fit the room.

Back in my day a 27" tube tv was the big deal if you didnt have one of those 25" inch console TVS. There is a huge glut of TVS. This Christmas should be good for anyone who needs one. Very competitive space.

Is 60hz really that much of a difference from 120hz when watching movies or TV shows?

Not really for regular movies and TV shows. In fact, higher frequencies duplicate frames to fill the gap and may create a soap opera effect. For high speed video games and sports, the 120hz is better while 60hz may be dropping some frames.

I have a UST with a 100" ALR screen . When it's daytime I wish I went your route. At night though I'm happy.
