EDIT: To clarify - you know how Airpods Pro have transparency mode? These Sony ear buds are the "ultimate" transparency mode. They are open so it does not have to simulate that same effects so its natural. On the flip side, its forever stuck on that "mode".. because again, they are open.
So if you want headphones that disconnect you from the real world, these are literally the opposite of that. These are the headphones you want when you want to listen to music, but have to stay connected to the real world (like for example if you need to be aware at work in your office, but still want to listen to music).
