Hard to say if 4-5% negative, based on listed reviews, is good or bad not knowing how many units are going out. Most people don't leave good reviews but you can be certain people with bad experiences will.

Roughly half of those negative reviews were people not reading the description complaining about accessories not being included or shipping issues. But the other half were people with legit issues of broken parts, DOA, dirty, etc...

I don't think its much to be concerned about . If you figure only 25% of people leave feedback when they have a positive experience and almost 100% leave it when they have bad experience it really doesnt scale out to be that bad for a "refurbished" product.

I also wonder how many of these are costco returns for people who got them for a hurricane, never used it, then returned them or people who only needed it for a day then returned it.

I remember seeing people returning these to costco after a hurricane scare a year or 2 ago and i asked if they would sell me one for a discount lol. I was told they send them right back to the manufacturer.

I posted it as it was buried in the other post for the less powerful one. The one that this morning went out of stock & I posted that it came back in stock.

Just sharing the deal so people are aware it's out there. I purchased this one and don't care other than to spread the word & deal.

For your information, this model of a new unit was $600 at Costco when on sale. Mine works really well after breaking in. I have used it in a 3.5 days power outage earlier this year. Refurbished unit is not sure if that has been broken in properly though.

Looking what would be missing from the accessories, it seems it's just the oil, funnel and a battery charger. What exactly is the battery charger for? The electric start to charge a rechargeable battery?

Correct I already have a trickle charger so not to worried about it missing.

The charger should be easy to get aftermarket. The original charger is very convenient though as you don't need to take out the battery to charge it. I only plug it in for a couple hours every 6 months or so. That would make sure the electric starter functional when needed.

Mine also comes with a protective cover.

This looks like a great deal, but make sure you read their seller feedback. Might not be worth the hassle.

Mostly good, and the negatives seem to indicated refunds. Some are for things like "missing parts" - but the seller indicates this unit only comes with the propane line, not all parts. Plus it comes with 90 manufacturer warranty in addition to the 2 year All State.

There's a risk here, as with all refurbs, but seems like 95% chance to get a hell of a price on a dual fuel inverter with this much wattage, with a 5% chance to just have to deal with a refund.

Yes with the purchase of NG regulator and NG quick disconnect flex hose.

I bought this same refurbished unit and converted it to use Natural Gas.

There doesn't appear to be much negative reviews regarding this particular model. Mainly 2000W and 3200W. Actually one bad review was about the missing accessories, which has been acknowledged here by other users. And then the other review was from someone that could barely put a sentence together.

I listed this yesterday on the other post! love the copy cat!

Not bad, but if you're looking for dual fuel, it's only 352$ more and 4000w with 192cc engine.
