So would u guys:
1) stay put in model Y and hope that the low mileage eventually recoups some of the negative equity. I will be averaging 5k annual miles at most. I enjoy the model Y and its perfectly nice and enjoyable. Just prefer the X/S.
2) wait for a further price drop on model x/s once fed tax credits expire.
3) go for the model x/s now and roll the negative equity into a new loan.
Appreciate feedback
Rolling negative equity is never a good idea.
I would just enjoy the car and pay it off. Then consider your options.
The smartwatch has way more features but is simplistic in nature.. it's a high volume produced circuit board and OLED screen, a couple sensors and thats it. Becomes outdated quickly, disposable once the latest chip/revision released. Doesnt hold any value really long term.
The mechanical watch has a lot more moving parts, but its desired because of craftsmanship, looks, noise (if you listen closesly), rarity..there is something to be appreciated with the inner workings of it. Can it do more than just tell time? Hell no but you wont be seeing a smartwatch sell/bought for 6 figures by a collector as some mechanical watches do.
Same goes for GT-Rs, Hellcats, Vipers, Lambos, Bugattis, you name it. Fast isnt everything.
That is actually a GREAT analogy.
The fastest internal combustion engine car ever made from the factory WAS the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ but has been surpassed by the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut
"Fast" is not "quick" - when you're trying to get your point across about 0-60 times, that's a reference of how "quick" it is off the line. It means nothing about the top speed.
There are plenty of 300mph cars out there - ICE / top fuel, jet /turbine engines that can surpass 300mph easily. Those are the "fastest cars ever made".
300mph production cars... (no Teslas)

Also, the land speed record was set in 1997... at 763.035 mph - 1227.985 km/h
Edit: until someone can show a vehicle traveling at a higher rate if speed (distance covered divided by amount of time) or even a vehicle that has accelerated faster than a Tesla, Tesla will hold the record for quickest and fastest.

It's a 4400lb dodge with a high power engine slapped in it; it couldn't be more 1-dimensional and basic. "Fast isn't everything". Fast is literally the one trick it has.
Are they going to offer any supercharger credit?
