You can get a similar spec custom pre-built from CyberPowerPc for around $3200 that comes with extra free stuff. They're having their labor day sale. But as always, purchasing each separately always ends up the better deal

PRICE: $3445 - $172.25 (GAMER Coupon) = $3,272.75
You can make this deal even better if you choose the i9-13900K instead of the i9-13900KS, which will save you $260 and the total price of $3,025.75.
However this doesn't include fans and the brand of the parts aren't the exact same. But you can get a set of case fans for pretty cheap online. If you really have to have Corsair RGB fans then the price would be about the same as this deal, so I'd probably just get this deal if you're very specific on the brand of parts you want and the RGB.
But I agree, if you want to build it yourself and don't like waiting on a deal for each pc part because that can take a while, this isn't that bad of a deal.
This deal is actually ok in terms of what you are getting vs price. Comes with a free kit and windows preinstalled which are nice pros. I made a PcPartPicker list to compare the items in the best case scenario (don't know the exact ram) it came out to $3448. a few possible problems though.
1) You are overpaying for unnecessary stuff like the $730 13900KS (it's literally 1-3% better than the 13900k ($550 rn) for over 30% the markup).
2) You may not like the some of the part choices like the case, AIO, gpu, mobo, psu (if your going for a certain look)
3) They don't tell you what the CL for the ram is so they could be cheaping out there
4) Corsair fans + ecosystem (lots for wiring required and their dumb rgb program to run it) - there are better rgb fans out there
If you are truly happy with these parts and willing to be stuck in corsair's system then its actually not bad because you get windows for free and a screwdriver kit. I would just rather buy your own parts at this point though an wait for the next holiday sale to save a few hundred dollars. I just made a custom PC list with better looking and performing parts for $200 less.
Agreed the i9-13900ks is overkill, on the wrong end of bang for the buck diminishing returns curve.
And based on reviews and benchmarks, the AMD Zen 4 7800x3d CPU is the worlds fastest gaming CPU (for now) with it's supersized 96mb of 3D V-cache (13900KS has 36mb of cache) if you want an maxed out gaming desktop.
But I get some non techy or even techy people suffer from decision paralysis and it's nice Corsair does the handholding of picking for you guaranteed compatible parts and giving hopefully a easy follow along guide for someone assembling their desktop PC.
