FYI - I believe the Partybox 1000 is going to be discontinued when the new Partybox Ultimate releases in October - the reason for the price drop.

I'm just curious as to how much better the Ultimate model is and which one hits harder (12" sub versus two 9" subs).

Been waiting for an update to this model however $1699 for the ultimate is insane. Hopefully the 1000 keeps dropping in price so I can get 2. Another option would be dual 710's playing in stereo.

I bought a 1000 to compare to my 710. Preferred the eq balance on the 710. Both good but can't even imagine how great a stereo 710 setup would be

I have two 310's and they are incredible in a stereo pair. I couldn't imagine the 710 or the 1000 in a pair. You just can't get power and volume like this buying a receiver and two speakers for the money. Never happen

The 1000 has too much bass? I'm thinking of getting a 710, to upgrade from a 310

I thought the eq balance allowed for more bass from 710 but they were really similar. That was an old post and since then I've purchased a second 710 for stereo
