All good my friend, driving Ford Hybrid myself. I guess my question is would 0W-20 work in your case. I can't imagine it having any significant affect on mileage but I could be wrong.

I just go by what the engineers at Toyota say. It does note in the manual that you can put in OW20 but only for one cycle and then the next cycle must go to OW16.

I use 5W-30 on Toyota 2GR-FE engine in northeast. The manual calls for 0W-20. Will 5W-30 hurt the engine?

Not sure why, but bought some of this Pennzoil on sale not long ago and made my car start using oil that didn't prior. One review at the time said the same bout oil consumption but I didn't believe it…returned what I had left unopened and went back to more expensive Mobile 1 oil.

I don't think this is an issue with this particular oil, it's more than sometimes the odd engine will misbehave with certain oils.

I've heard odd reports like this about all synthetic oils and I almost wonder if it's so thin and fluid that it's escaping through a leaky seal and getting burned off in the cylinders. I am just guessing though, I have no idea.

The regular Pennzoil rebate is way better than this…Even if you already used the Pennzoil rebate for this calendar year (which would be limited to 20 qts of oil) you are much better off buying the same Pennzoil jugs for full price at Walmart for $23.78. After discount, this Autozone gift card offer would cost $27 per jug. The original Pennzoil rebate is $20 gift card (that you can use at a whole bunch of places and even use partial amounts), with purchase of 10 qts. Ends up costing around 15.50 per jug if you buy at Walmart.

It doesn't mention that it is prohibited in either T&C.
I'd say good luck with that. If you're a lawyer, you could sue them if they don't honor both, but I am not, so I am sure they will come up with something to deny me.
