This is great timing as our Amazon Basics shredder just crapped out (and we babied it). I think shredders are like dehumidifiers - they are only made to last up to about 2 years. Either go cheap or buy from a store with a good return policy like Costco. I was going to drop about $250 on one from Costco and then this showed up. Ended up getting 4 of them (the limit) so I figure that's about 8 years of shredding if I'm lucky.

I have this shredder. It was a great purchase @ $29.
Better @ $22. Recommened.

Shredders are so freaking expensive nowadays. I think I bought one for under $20 probably 15 years ago, and it lasted close to 10 years. These days you're lucky to find one under $50.

Great deal! I got it for $10 more and it was already worth it. At this price, should be a no brainer for anyone in the market for a shredder

Got one back in May when they were on sale I don't shred very many papers so it does the job did have to send the first one back though it was badly cracked in the front it is cheap plastic

Lot of local libraries now have Library of Things you can borrow for free, incl paper shredders.
