The LG C3 OLED and Samsung S90C OLED are similar TVs occupying the same market position. Of the two, the Samsung is the better gaming TV and slightly better overall TV, while the LG is the better TV for movie fans. The Samsung gets brighter than the LG, especially in HDR; not only that, but it also maintains its HDR brightness better in Game Mode. It also supports 4k @ 144Hz, while the LG is limited to 4k @ 120Hz. It has a much wider color gamut and more accurate colors. However, the LG supports DTS audio formats and Dolby Vision, making it great for Blu-ray fans. It also has better low-quality content smoothing than the Samsung TV, making it better for watching streaming content, especially in low-bitrate situations.

Safe to conclude you have no clue about OLED Tv prices.
You're saying this like you're discovering America... Your comment is equivalent to coming to a Tesla thread and saying "not a gas car. Pass"

It's a well known fact that not a single Samsung set supports DV, they use their own HDR10+ (which is not adopted by 95% of content, true)

Video only says MSRP is 1499 which is less than this price. Am I reading it wrong?

How would this do in a bright living room with a window wall that gets evening sun? I have a 2015 QLED JS850 now that struggles but is still watchable—guessing this OLED would still be brighter but nothing like a QN90B/C??

Amazon and Best Buy also have this TV for this price but without the extended warranty.

https://a.co/d/3T7Inom
https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/...Id=6536964

Note the Costco model number is QN65S90CDFXZA and the Amazon, Best Buy, (non warehouse club) model number is QN65S90CAFXZA even though they're the same TV. The model numbers are different so the non-warehouse club retailers don't have to price match to warehouse clubs.

Someone started a thread for the Amazon deal.

WOW! You might as well pay an extra $100 and get the 65" LG C3 - it's $1,699.99 with free shipping and 5 years total coverage. Here's the link (thats the cheapest Ive seen for an LG 65 C3 (New and not refurbished) - https://www.costco.com/.product.4000153199.html

Amazon has the C3 at $100 more. Best buy also has it at $100 more than this deal but also has a $100 gift card matching the saving+price to this S90.
LG C3 over this S90 any day. You also get Dolby vision besides a better panel (imo)
