Tennis deal is always welcome
Just because strings don't break doesn't mean you can keep playing with them. Poly goes dead way before it breaks. If the balls are sailing long or you lost control, that would be a good time to cut them out and put on fresh string. Playing with dead string also leads to elbow issues.

I use RPM Blast. Does anyone know how this compares? I heard it's advertised as softer and yet it feels stiffer. I don't care for the pink color. Is that all they have? thanks

well, yes of course...otherwise you can damage the frame and the tension will be way off.

Not that bad. I always replace cross only, no issue. Of course, fix the racket on stringing machine first and then cut cross. I replace my multi cross almost every month.
And I use Gamma Sports Racquet String Tension Tester to compare the tensions, no much difference. I'm about 4.0 level and play ~3 hours/week. BTW I stringing by myself, with GAMMA 602FC and WISE 2086 Electronic Tension Head.
May not work for you, but try it first and then tell by yourself.
