when it comes to non-stick + normal reviews = absolute mess, IMO. it's sam as saying that eggs don't stick in seasoned cast iron or carbon steel... of course they won't if u add 2 table spoons of butter. i imagine they add 0 fat to this pan and eggs will def stick pretty soon...

also, these are never to be designed to be used over 375f, no matter what pans say (think about flushable toilet wipes). properly used, daily, these should last 2 years, and then replaced...cause all non-stick will go bad eventually... i bought 5 of these,, for this reason ... should last me for 10 years.

Anyone know if the nonstick coating starts flaking in just a few months?

I've had one for years that gets used several times a week and cleaned in my dishwasher with no issues.

Costco reviews say many folks returned it because eggs would stick and the pan begins to warp in high heat, bumping upwards in the center, making the oil collect at the sides. I wouldn't trust such cheap non-stick materials and risk my health. The Tramontina ones have been very good in the past.

I bought a 10 inch OXO non-stick pan 4 years ago and its still going strong. It looks exactly like the ones in the pictures. Well worth it if they last just as long.

Why do people still use non-stick pans? They're either toxic or haven't been proven safe.

Been needing induction pans for awhile. Was tempted to buy a 3 piece frying pan set from Amazon for $25 but I'll go with this name brand. Wish they had lids though

I have never been able to find an answer, but ATK recommends the Pro version.

I think America's test kitchen might have mentioned these aren't induction compatible.

These are the induction versions of the pans tested by ATK.
They do not lose their non-stick capabilities even after letting sautéing onions burn to the bottom.

Did a quick google search. Can't find anything about PFAS
For the soft works but the pro version does not contain those forever chemicals

Stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, ceramic, or glass. Take your pick.

When it came to these vs. Kirkland version (same) I went with Kirkland coz they are built better and I cook raw eggs (zero oil) on them daily…
Chicken breast with minimal olive oil also cooks non-stick on kirkland that I do occasionally
Pan handling and weight ratio was also superior on Kirkland vs. these oxo

I think now Costco sells them only as box set with sauce pan etc.
