I have been thinking on taking a closer look at the system but haven't spent time on it yet. My initial gut feeling is to make mess with the hall effect sensor placement or double the magnets that track it.

Just put mine together and am very impressed with the packaging and the bike itself! The controller has lots of adjustments, just have to read the manual, ugh! Hate reading manuals, but it is worth it for all the adjustments you can do!

Giving it an initial five stars out of five. Hope it lasts.

Just put mine together. First thing I noticed was the lcd screen was cracked. Is it required? What features am I missing?

Edit: On the second try (First was getting late in the day) , phone wait time was about 5 minutes, and the first rep said he was going to send out my lcd control panel replacement. The installation should be rather easy. Other than that, bike is solid, and should be able to properly set it up once I get the replacement.

The LCD screen is pretty important. It tells you the speed, the battery level and allow you to adjust PAS (and other) settings.

I have had the bike for 8 days and ridden 130 miles already, mostly to/from work. I live in NYC, lots of potholes, hard braking required etc... I upgraded the seat from Amazon for $18 to make it more comfortable.

I am VERY impressed with the bike so far. It feels solid and gets me where I need to go quickly.

For the $286 I spent (30% off with student code), this is probably the greatest bargain purchase I have ever made from Slickdeals in the past fifteen years.

Same, I had a spare cushoned seat that I put on. Replacement screen came in quickly. I will thread it through the frame, and connect it to the ecs tomorrow.
