That's a good deal. I just bought one directly from Samsung last week. Used the edu discount and traded in an older Samsung device with a cracked screen for $200 off to get it down to around $715. I probably would have jumped on this if I had seen it.

I really like the phone. The 1/2 screen when folded is pretty handy and apparently a big improvement from past models. First flip phone in probably 20 years for me lol

I would stay away from any foldable if you are a heavy user. I had the Flip 2, 3 and 4 all had their screen protectors replaced from the edges where the screen folds. None are user replaceable and you need to send it in for replacement. I finally gave up on any foldable and got the S23 Ultra.

What stood out most to me about the phone had been how striking the actual display is. On first take, I immediately notice how crisp and vibrant the display was! I then went to DXOmark to check really how "poorly" the camera was but instead found out they did display scores as well ( haven't been to the site in ages ) and they validated my observations by giving it tied for 4th overall! Yeah, so if its noticeable to me, it'll be notiecable to everyone else. Otherwise, the phone's been a solid one for use. The 2 bads I do miss are the telephoto zoom and ultra fast charging (oneplus 8T).

Nice deal I'd you don't have a trade in amd missed the Flip5 preorder deal for converting from the via Samsung. I personally went with Spectrum coming from an S23 base model. Got 937 trade in and unlocked after 2 months

Love the durability of the new gorilla glass they use to protect the outside and inside display, plus if you break one screen in an emergency situation you have the other to utilize.

Didn't fall in love with my flip3 or flip4 but the flip5 hit the spot. Kudos to Samsung for the easy trade up throughout the way.

Been using a basic cheap A71 5g currently after having a samsung s8+ since 2018. Mp issues thus far but wouldn't mind upgrading to a higher end phone. $800 is kinda steep though
