I am looking for a TV for a very bright living room with large windows. Unfortunately rtings says B2 isn't as bright as C2. Have been thinking maybe the Sonys are a better option for a bright room?

This tv was cheaper on tax day 2023 at Sam's club. Paid $794 total with 5 yr warranty and $100 Google play gift card included.

Can you afford the G3? Or the QN90C? If not then maybe the Hisense U8H.

B2 and c2 are very minimal difference in real world use. If you're so concerned get a Qled

Thank you! I have budgeted $1.2k. So maybe I should wait for black Friday and see if g3 goes on sale. I have been waiting to see if Costco will have the qn90c in 55'. 🤞

Micro center has the 55in c2 for $999 so a $100 more.The c2 is brighter has a evo screen has a better processor,better sound and has 4 120 ports.

Your definition of minimal is different than mine. The c2 is brighter has a evo screen has a better processor, better sound and has 4 120 ports.

I have a feeling this will be $599 on black friday. they are not moving at all and $900 is still a bit much for a year old model!

I have used both in the same room and video, its not this night and day difference in real world use. If B2 isn't bright enough get a qled as the C2 wont be bright enough either.

You mentioned brightness not the other features. IMHO sound doesn't matter as TV speakers all suck. Processor maybe but I wouldnt use WebOs apps for anything, its horrible compared to Roku or Apple TV.

lol, please don't listen to the guy talking about b2 vs c2. Every advantage he mentions is barely negligible AT MOST. And let's not even get into better sound. All modern tvs these days have crap sound.

Sure, if they're the same price, go c2 all the way. But in this case, saving a few hundred bucks is more than worth the tradeoff for these "advantages"

Just pointing out that this is not really a slick deal.

Sometimes it's helpful to know if it has been cheaper in the past since that same deal might come back around. If you're not in a rush it pays off to wait a bit longer get that same deal (unless it was those in-store extreme YMMV deals). It's what a true slick dealer would do Wink

Actually $900 is pretty good for a non YMMV deal on a B2 55"

Exactly, agreed. People who havent used and viewed both side by side are exaggerating any difference between the b2 and C2.

No but as above said, it educates folks on what the discount prices usually are for a unit.
