The "fronds" get like 3 feet long if it gets plenty of direct sunlight and it's super healthy. It grows pretty vertical so it doesn't have much spread. I'd expect it to be more like 2'. It doesn't need that big of a pot

I ordered one too. Unfortunately the delivery person didn't keep it upright. All of the branches broke. At least Amazon allows a non-return refund.

That sucks. Mine came sorta damaged too, but they ended up regrowing and in the process of flourished. Also Costa farms customer service is great, I went through their email.

I feel like of all things, ordering a live plant from amazon has to be one of the worst purchases ever.
it seems like they usually arrive in good shape, and if it doesn't amazon will refund you with no hassle

I bought one from Lowes and the soil was very wet, which was a red flag but I figured I might be able to correct it at home. I'm pretty new to indoor plants, the soil started growing mold as well, which sucked, so they must have just been drenching them at the store. Some of the leaves are turning brown and dying from the over watering. I set it outside in the AZ heat in indirect sun for a few hours a day and the soil dried out and looks much better now. Hoping the whole thing doesn't die. I wish I could buy these online but they won't deliver to AZ
