Enjoyed this game a lot. It's a streamlined souls-like with only a few areas to explore, a limited number of weapons, and then four different "shells" which basically amount to body types/builds. Almost every aspect of the game is really tight and it feels amazing to play, although I can't speak for the Switch version. I didn't finish the game because there was one sequence that I hated so much it stopped being worth attempting but everything up until that point had been excellent.

I am a huge souls fan and this one just didn't work for me. It is very limited in the enemies, locations and forces you to play a certain way with very little customization. But for this price not much to lose i guess.

Also it's heavily discounted rn on steam, was wondering why playerbase spiked to like 200 for this game recently (usually sits around 30 if that's any indication of the staying power, or lack thereof)

I love Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring and other Souls-like games, but I could not get into this at all. I beat a boss or two and had no desire to continue.

Awesome game! The first souls-like that I ever played. Took a while, but I finally got the hang of the game and loved it.

Played on Xbox Series X, so I can't vouch for performance on the Switch...

This was my introduction to souls like games. It left me wanting so I bought DS 1-3 after. If you graduate from it rather than graduate to it you'll be happy. The graphics are fantastic, the mechanics are pretty faithful to souls but a bit more forgiving, and its short and consumable. I wish the developers much success in the future because for a small shop they did a fantastic job. $3 is definitely worth the purchase.
