On the lenovo site both model comes up with the same spec. and both have the thunderbolt port. I was thinking it was like a costco model where they remove features but doesn't seem that way. Normally they don't create a new SKU if the supplier changes from something like samsung to micron m.2 so it could be a minor hardware fix mid cycle where they updated the model to differentiate the earlier model from the later. Anyways any other insight found is appreciated. I ended up ordering this laptop from B&H either way.

Not much of a deal these days with Meteor Lake 14th-gen Intel CPUs coming in a few weeks and the AMD Ryzen 7800/7900 mobile chips blowing away all of Intel chips while sipping less power.
