Same price at Amazon after $10 coupon [amazon.com] (not sure if targeted). Probably worth it to avoid Newegg.

2 years ago I bought this drive for $320 for my PS5. Amazing how much the cost dropped (and it works fine for PS5 with a heat sink)

I want to pull the trigger on this so badly, but, I have to wait until home insurance cuts me a check for a lightning-damaned custom PC. Plus, I think this price is gonna come down some more over the next 6 weeks and Im not in a hurry. But, between the 990 Pro and WD 850, this drive is right there in performance.

Did it work poorly without the heat sink?

Spend the extra $8-10 and get a heatsink. Not worth having that drive overheat and potentially mess up your PS5.

4-5 months ago I bought this drive for $120 for my PS5. Works fine.

How much will these be on Black Friday this year is the real question 😂

It is recommended to use a heat sink with it in the PS5. I didn't risk burning it up without one.
